Christ a heart’s Prized Possession … Reading the story of Sabina Wurmbrand.  The assurance of faith to stand as some have before another in moments of persecution and hate and say, yes Christ is more real than anything in this world, and yes HE IS MINE.  ohhh, His heart to become my Sure Stronghold.  My faith’s Resting Place ! And HOW I know He longs to reveal this heart so full of love & a Father’s embrace to His children! Am I now, without a shadow of a doubt, Forgiven eternally, with a name written in His book of books, His child? What of when I seem to have no new nature, and feel the weight of the old pulling me back down? What of when I know no definite moment when my soul knew its need FOR Jesus? Couldn't sleep last night after waking at 3am... maybe a mixture of this flu and our new kitten tapping my mug from one end of the wooden floor to the other.  I glanced out the kitchen window to the starry night sky, one of my favorite of His creations.  oh the wondrous twinkling glitter.  Pondering life (isn't that what you do late at night??).  Pondering the astounding fact that I. am. an. aunt.  Though I still haven't held little Ada in my own arms, I love her dearly already.  Pondering how my body needs rest, yet HE never slumbers.  Opened up my Bible, and these thoughts He's been stirring in my heart. on Family relationships, desiring what HE does for each of them, and keeping a willingness to learn!
